This isn’t a wild summit chase—it’s more of a peaceful stretch-your-legs stroll with ocean air and views of Casco Bay. Perfect after a long drive.
Wander the wooded path around the island’s edge, pop down to the rocky shoreline, or just pick a bench and soak it all in. Casco Bay is out there looking majestic!
Don’t miss the whimsical fairy house village—yes, really. Channel your inner gnome and build your own little home using natures supplies. It’s charming, quirky, and totally Maine.
There’s even a pet cemetery, part of the original island donation. The rest of the land is home to the Baxter School for the Deaf—thank you for sharing this special spot 🙏.
