📍Winchester, NH

⭐ Waterfall Rating: 9/10 – Easy hike, stunning falls, and cool rock formations!

The Details
• Drive-In: Just off Route 10. The path is wide, with large rocks blocking vehicle access. The pull-off is directly across from it.
• Parking: A pull-off on the westbound side of the road. It’s on a corner—proceed with caution!
• Restroom Situation: 🚫Find a tree! 🌲
• Time: Another quickie—about 20–40 minutes, depending on whether you take the direct route or the loop. Ps. The loop is not on All Trails, but we found it anyway.
Pro Tip 💡
Want to go big? Do a menage à trois with this one, Beaver Brook Falls and Chesterfield Gorge in one day or weekend!

The Trek 🚶♀️🐾
Second try was the winner—and Bre’s pups got to join the fun this time! 🐶🐾 On our first attempt, there was just too much snow and water to cross over to the other side of the falls.
On the way in, there’s an awesome rock formation on the right that’s worth a quick stop. Take a moment to appreciate nature’s sculpture work!

Trail update—there’s a loop option if you take a right after the first water crossing. A construction company did some grading for power lines. While on this wide road, look to the left for the entrance of the loop trail. It’s a worn down foot path on the left side and it’s not marked. It could even be a game trail, but we used it. Follow the brook and you’ll come out in front of and then on top of the falls.

Once you reach the falls, definitely try to get across if you can (sometimes that means following the brook further down for other crossing options)— the view from the other side is even better! Enjoy!

Post-Hike Eats 🍽️
🏡 The Arlington Inn – Not just good food, but also a place to stay if you need one! Bonus: They host live music on select Mondays, featuring local musicians. 🎶

Fun fact: Jordan, the owner, is a legend in the community. She’s not just serving up delicious meals—she’s spent 10 years coaching the Middle School Boys Basketball team and is now on the town planning board. Talk about dedication!
